Terms of Use

1. What MeFor3 is

MeFor3 (also referred to as bemefor3 / mefor3) is a marketplace where locals may offer three hours of their ordinary Sunday — grocery runs, park walks, tea with neighbors, and similar real routines. MeFor3 is not a tour company. Listings that pitch landmarks, monuments, or guidebook sightseeing are prohibited.

The platform provides introduction and coordination tools only. You are responsible for your own safety, judgment, and compliance with local law.

2. Adults only (18+)

MeFor3 is for adults 18 years of age or older only. By using the service or offering a Sunday, you represent that you are at least 18. We do not knowingly allow minors to host or book.

3. Eligibility & criminal-history self-attestation

Hosts and travelers must affirm before participating that they are not listed on any sex offender registry and have no convictions for violent crimes. This is a required self-attestation at signup (and again before booking or offering a Sunday if not already on file).

A false attestation is a serious violation. MeFor3 may immediately ban the account and report the matter to authorities where appropriate. Self-attestation is not a background check; you remain responsible for your own safety offline.

4. No illegal activity

You must not use MeFor3 for any illegal activity of any kind, including but not limited to: drugs or controlled substances; weapons trafficking; human trafficking; exploitation; theft; fraud; harassment; stalking; violence; or any other criminal conduct. We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities where required.

5. No sexual services

Sexual services, prostitution, escorting, or any sexual commercial arrangement framed as a "Sunday," hang, or listing are strictly forbidden. Listings or messages that solicit or imply such services will be removed and may result in account termination.

6. Landmark ban & no fake tour bait

Listings must describe an ordinary local routine. Famous landmarks, monuments, and classic sightseeing itineraries are banned. Do not bait travelers with tour-guide language and then claim it is an "ordinary Sunday." Moderators may reject listings that violate this rule and must provide an explanation to the host.

7. Expected behavior

• Treat others with respect; no pressure, coercion, or hostility.
• Either person may end the hang early for any reason, without argument.
• No audio/video recording or photography of the other person without clear prior consent.
• Prefer meeting in public places; share plans with a friend if that helps you feel safer.
• Silent hang is optional — only if the host marks it OK.

8. Safety & your responsibility

MeFor3 does not currently run background checks and does not supervise hangs in person. You agree to exercise caution, meet in public when possible, and exit any situation that feels unsafe. Users are solely responsible for interactions that occur offline.

9. Listings, bookings & moderation

New host listings start as pending and appear on the public browse page only after admin approval. Rejected listings show the admin's explanation to the host. Guests book a concrete upcoming weekend slot (Saturday or Sunday, exactly 3 hours). Booking requests go through Stripe Checkout when the host has completed Connect payouts. MeFor3 takes a platform fee (default 15%); the host receives the remainder via Stripe Connect Express.

10. Privacy, name disclosure & post-experience contact

Hosts disclose nothing personal on the platform except their name (we prefer a first name on public listings). Public profiles and listings are not required to show phone numbers, social handles, email addresses, home addresses, or other personal contact details.

Any connection after the experience is forbidden unless the host specifically allows it after the hang — a one-way host opt-in. Guests must not assume ongoing access to the host. Hosts who want further contact may invite it only after the experience ends.

Unauthorized post-experience contact or connection may result in suspension or permanent account termination. Unauthorized includes, without limitation:

• Asking for phone numbers, social accounts, or email during the hang for the purpose of staying in touch afterward (unless the host clearly invites that after the hang);
• Messaging the other person off-platform without the host's explicit post-hang permission;
• Showing up again uninvited after the hang;
• Harassment, stalking, or unwanted pressure either direction — guest toward host or host toward guest.

These rules apply to guests and hosts. Enforcement is by policy plus report, block, and ban tools — we cannot perfectly police every off-platform message, but reported misuse can lead to removal. Report unauthorized contact or harassment through the product channels described on our Safety page.

11. Account termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, illegal or harmful conduct, landmark/tour bait, sexual-service solicitations, harassment, false criminal-history self-attestation, unauthorized post-experience contact, or other misuse — with or without prior notice where we believe risk is immediate. False eligibility statements may also be reported to authorities where appropriate.

12. Liability limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeFor3 and its operators provide the platform "as is" and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; lost profits; or personal injury arising from offline meetings or user conduct. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) fees you paid to MeFor3 for the transaction at issue in the prior 12 months, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, limits apply to the maximum extent allowed.
